Today we celebrate Father's Day,

But today is hard for those whose father's are no longer here.

We don't hear their voice, we can't see their face.

All we have are the memories of what use to be. 

The faith that held him together and framed his life. 

The joy of his love of the greater Father

As he spent time in prayer and studied God's word. 

There were discussions, there were decision times

But he was there to guide, just as God the Father guided him

So I ask you God to pass on to him our thanks

And wish him a happy Fathers Day as he spends time with the Ultimate Father of all - God the Creator.
